When you think of classic American Muscle cars it’s hard to miss the Chevrolet Camaro, and this excellent condition 67′ Z22 Rally Sport convertible is guaranteed to impress.
This stunning blue beauty was imported out of South Carolina in 2011 by the previous owner and was purchased by the current owner in 2015 from Melbourne. This vehicle has been maliciously restored to original factory standards in 2001 undergoing a full rotisserie rebuild down to every last nut and bolt using only GM & NOS parts.
Walking around this vehicle you will find every panel is clean and straight, showing that this car has been extremely well cared for since the restoration. The body lines are crisp and sharp, finished in beautiful Marina Blue paint which truly comes to life and sparkles in the sun. The high quality paint job leaves little to be desired with the subtle RS decals and white pin stripes offset the gorgeous blue perfectly.
Every badge, detail and chrome is in it’s rightful place in excellent condition along with the hide-away head lights and trunk spoiler finishing off the classic “muscle car” look. The under carriage of this vehicle has not been forgotten and is in comparable condition to that of the top. Rally Wheels & Hubcaps with chrome trim rings are attached which ties this car together perfectly. A new power convertible top has been supplied with this vehicle but is yet to be fitted, as the current top has a few signs of age with several small holes.
Open the drivers door and we will not blame you if you though you were in 1967 again. The beautiful blue deluxe, bucket seat interior is in outstanding condition with no signs of wear and tare. Nothing looks out of place from the classic 60’s styling with factory tach, gauges and console sporting a AM/FM radio. A chrome Rosewood sports wheel with tilt centred with a Chevy badge steers this beautiful machine. Overall the the interior is in excellent condition with no damage seats or panels, with everything working as it should.
Pop the bonnet and you are greeted by and extremely tidy and clean engine bay with a date coded 327 engine with chromed out air-cleaner and valve covers, matted to a Muncie 4 speed transmission. The power is delivered to the factory 10bolt differential delivering the grunt of the V8 to the 225/70R14 BF Goodrich Radial T/A tyres. The strong and healthy motor sounds great through the factory intake & exhaust manifolds, exiting the rear dual exhausts. Power Steering and front disc brakes make this Chevrolet a pleasure to drive. Air and oil filter & spark plugs.
This 1967 Camaro is in excellent condition all round and has all the right looks as a true blooded classic American icon, ready for it’s new owner to turn key and show-off!
