1966 Ford Mustang GT
This beautiful clean and solid metallic pewter 1966′ Mustang GT has undergone a full hand restoration, completed to a high standard with a focus on the original mustang look.
The metallic pewter paint job presents extremely well and has held up well since it’s restoration, showing the care and consideration that has gone into maintaining this vehicle. Imperfections are at a minimum, with the badges, emblems, chrome all in great shape. The body is very straight, with all panels in line as they should and looks to consist of lots of solid original metal. Even the underside is clean! Last but not least, the contrasting black stripes and American Racing Wheels really tie this Ford together to make it pop!
Open the door and you’ll find the black GT interior in excellent condition with no obvious signs of wear or tear with the seat belts being redone. The dash presents much like it did in the 60’s with only a few minor cosmetic differences, an aftermarket tacho and removeable GPS.
Under the hood you’ll find a strong and healthy 289 4V Windsor V8 with electric choke, topped with a new Holley 650 & air filter. This is matted to a 4 Speed Manual Gearbox which has been professionally rebuilt which changes smoothly into gear. This 66′ GT rumbles like it should, with the classic exhaust sound you’d expect, running through the stock pipes which sports the iconic looking tips. Front and Rear breaks have been rebuilt all round, making this mustang stop just as well as it drives.
This 1966 Mustang presents extremely well all round and is bound to impress. Ready to turn key and start cruising, anyone looking classic Mustang coupe should definitely consider this car, with this fantastic example ready for it’s new owner!
